SocialWorx Advocacy Group is a local 501(c)3 nonprofit, Their mission is to: provide peer support to empower individuals in navigating mental health systems while helping others understand and address cultural needs.
Our method is three-fold:
Cultural Understanding - we provide comprehensive and customized cultural training to providers of healthcare and mental healthcare, social service providers, leadership teams, human resources leaders, and more.
Mental Health Navigation - we work side-by-side with people of any background or culture in navigating the mental health system and overcoming any barriers to services they may face.
Mental Wellness Packets - we provide mental health resource packets so that those facing a mental health crisis will have easier access to the resources they may need.
