Swaniti club of IIM Rohtak is a non-profit student-driven organization that enhances and fosters the students' political and public policy-making acumen. It aims to provide an environment where a strategic mindset can be nurtured by bringing together students and facilitating thoughtfulness on the various policies and issues in the country.
The spirit of Swaniti lies in various events that it conducts, such as article writing, quizzes, and speaker sessions on current policies. By conducting group discussions (Samvaad) and Model united nations conferences, it enhances the deep understanding and efforts required to conceptualize and form policies. It also collaborates with various organizations for the students to get deeper insights.
Swaniti also conducts ground level surveys by visiting various villages to determine the effectiveness of the current government policies. It also publishes a monthly magazine, Rajyaneeti, which aims to provide information regarding a particular state, its history, policies, and the political environment.
Swaniti is one of the most active and informational club of IIM Rohtak and aims to provide value addition to the students' knowledge regarding public policies and politics.
