Riksföreningen för Akutsjusköterskor (SENA), established in 2008, is a voluntary, politically independent, nationwide association of nurses working in emergency care in Sweden. Our mission is to enhance collaboration among nurses in intrahospital emergency care, including those in emergency departments and acute care units.
SENA aims to promote research, development, and education to enhance nurses' competence in the care of acutely ill and injured patients. Additionally, we aspire to foster national and international collaboration with other associations and professional groups, influencing societal development as a consultative body on matters related to emergency care and acute nursing.
