The Swindon Social Enterprise Network (SSEN) was established in November 2018 and is a voluntary, virtual, community group. We believe that “business” can and should be a force for good and that not for profits should consider trading to secure their funding to continue to provide vital services to people: Particularly in these times where fewer grants are available and charitable donations have stagnated.
We aim to:
• Support existing SE’s to grow and flourish and those contemplating starting one
• Assist charities who wish to create a new trading revenue stream
• Encourage existing, profitable businesses to deliver social/environmental impact for market advantage
