Cycling 4 Climate raises awareness of climate change and promotes action by organizing cycling events (Climate Classics) as well as encouraging professional cycling to act.
The organization Cycling 4 Climate is a non-profit organization, founded in 2019 in the Netherlands. C4C Switzerland was founded in 2024.
C4C Switzerland's mission is

- be the accelerator of sustainability in professional CH cycling
As part of our identity, all Climate Classic participants wear the climate stripes Jersey and socks to maximize awareness. This underlines our solidarity and the fact that we need each other and can only solve it together. The collective is stronger than the individual.
Prior to rides, participants must agree upon our Carbon Code of Conduct and are encouraged developing a plan to reduce their footprint with a personal climate commitment.
