The MDG product line from Fresno, CA was rolled into Switchback Group in 2007 and leads our offering of End Load and Sleever Style Cartoners, Case Packers, and Carton Closers.
The former Packaging Machinery Services company was purchased by Switchback Group and serves the carton industry with tray-forming and closing machinery. The company shipped its first machine in 1972 and has been a leader while supplying over 500 machines to the packaging industry. Typical customers include bakeries, snack foods, confectionery, medical, paper, electronics and automotive companies.
The Compliance Packaging line manufactures pouching machines for towelettes, liquids, powder, and flat objects. Offering high cycle rates and rugged construction our proven technology serves the medical, pharmaceutical, food, and specialty markets.
Clowe labeling machines handle cut-and-stack labels for round bottles and cans. Building labelers since the early 1980's, Switchback offers a unique and simple alternative to the bottling and canning industry. Our partnership with ALTECH Inc. from Milan, Italy offers the North American market a full line of Bottle labelers as well as Print-and-Apply Labeling Heads.
