We are ER doctors and software engineers dedicated to helping people become healthier and empowered. Over the years we have seen many people turn to the internet in order to self-diagnose their symptoms. Even though, we applaud such initiatives, we quickly realized that the right tool for this purpose did not exist. After examining most ‘symptom checkers’ and studying what happens after ‘googling symptoms’, we felt we had to provide ‘online diagnosers’ with a proper tool to achieve their goals. So we created Symptify.
What is Symptify?
An online self-assessment tool that uses a customized algorithmic engine to help users educate themselves about causes of symptoms. We have combined the cumulative experience of multiple ER doctors with current medical knowledge to create a tool that helps users narrow the causes of their symptoms, find the closest place to get care and give a heads-up when going to a facility.
