The company was founded under the name "Schmid Automation Asia" in 1999 and since then had continuous growth in manufacturing automation equipment for electronic and semiconductor industry. SAA is registered on the Taiwan stock market since 2013. The company became independent from the previous German mother company in 2014 and was renamed to "Symtek Automation Asia". Today SAA is the biggest automation supplier for PCB industry in Taiwan and one of the leading companies to bring industry4.0 to Taiwan.
