Budgeting, forecasting, project feasibility studies, raising finance and corporate financial reporting. Having worked in industry for small, medium and large organisations, I have seen many mundane Spread sheets that are difficult to read and understand - “a sea of numbers”. I believe that colour and formatting are key factors in an effective financial model as well as the structure of the numbers. I have a keen eye for colour and aesthetics as well as numbers and information. This allows me to produce something that immediately stands out and is attractive to non-financial people. I spent 4 and a half years working for a luxury fashion brand in London and this is where I was given the opportunity to develop my skills in Financial Modelling. My role constantly evolved and developed at OB and I was very lucky to acquire some fantastic exposure. I worked very closely with the original Finance Director for over 4 years and I also worked closely with the Current CEO in developing budgets, modelling and reporting for the business. I recently built a budget for a company called Restore Scan who are the Scanning arm of the Aim listed Document Management Company – Restore PLC. I worked closely with the FD Zoe Alldritt and other members of the Senior Management team to produce a budget for the 2017 Financial Year. When Zoe presented the finished budget to the CEO of the Group, he commented that; “it was the best budget pack he had ever seen”. Restore was named “Company of the Year” at the “Aim Awards” in 2016. My passion for Financial Modelling comes across in my work and also when I talk about it.
