T.O.A. Stained Glass Design is a commission studio that was born in 2005 in Santa Barbara, California. Now located in Murrieta, California, the studio designs copper-foiled work, leaded and beveled glass, faceted glass (dalle de verre), and plated glass for doors, windows, skylights, and interior applications. Glass is chosen according to the clients' personal tastes and existing interior design using the palettes of the best American manufacturers of machine-rolled colors and textures: Uroboros, Wissmach, and Kokomo Opalescent Glass. Mouth-blown glass crafted in the age old methods by Glasshütte Lamberts, Germany, is also used for a higher degree of luminescence. Mouth-blown rondels from Lamberts are a studio specialty.
Owner/artist Aaron Davidsson services repairs, replications, and custom commissions to residences, churches, and businesses across Southern California, including San Diego, Riverside, San Bernardino, Orange, Los Angeles, Ventura, and Santa Barbara counties. Deliveries of new work to all Southern California locations is always free. Work that is being shipped nationwide or internationally is double-crated, secured into A-frames and insured for safe delivery.
