Takeve was founded to address the need for a safer, more ethical delivery model in a sector where female employment is underrepresented. Initially launched as a food delivery platform, Takeve provided riders with regular contracts, safety, and fair working conditions. Today, we are transitioning into sustainable last-mile delivery, leveraging the lessons learned from our initial success while maintaining our core values of female empowerment, ethical employment, and sustainability. We combine AI-powered automated routes, electric vehicles, and predictive microhubs to offer fast, eco-friendly deliveries. With seamless API integration for e-commerce platforms, Takeve helps both local merchants and big brands meet customer expectations for rapid, reliable deliveries without increasing their logistical burden. Takeve has gained significant recognition, including a special mention from the President of the Republic of Italy, the Female Innovation Award from the Rome Chamber of Commerce, and was a finalist for the European Road Safety Award. Our work has been featured in research studies, university theses, and across more than 35 media outlets. We have successfully run pilot tests in Rome and Milan, operating with 130 partners in both the food and non-food sectors, and now we are scaling up. Thanks to our recent win of a national public tender and participation in the D2xcel acceleration program, we are ready to expand our sustainable last-mile services into new cities.
