The tame Group - known as tame Times is a Local Community Newspaper publishing company with it's Head Office in Alberton and regional offices in Polokwane, Rustenburg and Hammanskraal. We started in April 2009 with 26 000 papers bi weekly but have rapidly grown into a well respected title. Currently tame publishes 13 titles north of the Vaal with 875 000 papers monthly - a monthly readership of 5 000 000. Vision and mission The aim of tame is edutainment of every local community we serve. The content is hyper local so as to provide each community to grow and expand according to it's own pace. Our name implies - tame - to calm the volatile nature of the current emotions in South Africa. tame strive to build a better South Africa by strengthening each little community.
