Based in Fort Portal, Uganda, TBG leads ecological restoration and biodiversity conservation. Since 2001, it has restored 70% of the 100-acre Buhoiga Forest Reserve with indigenous trees and operates one of Uganda’s largest native tree nurseries. Restoration efforts have increased tree species from 17 to 116 and bird species from 34 to 113.
