pril 1, 2011 saw the launch of Team Telecom Maroc and its brand new call center in Tangier, Morocco. The center has been established by Johan Karsten LLM, originally from the Netherlands, and his business partner, UK based Henry Newrick who divides his time between Morocco and the UK / Europe.
Largely staffed by émigrés from countries throughout Europe, Team Telecom Maroc commenced business with over 100 agents in place and an almost full order book. It is one of the few telemarketing companies to directly address the principal problem associated with most offshore call centers. This is that although a typical agent may have a basic or even advanced knowledge of the language in which they are calling, they are not natural speakers of that language and because of this they lack the cultural understanding that only a native speaker who has been raised in a particular country can offer.
