team UTéCia is an association gathering students from the Université de Technologie de Compiègne, an engineering school located in Compiègne.
Since 1991, team UTéCia has been taking part in energy-saving races. The aim: to cover a set distance using the minimum amount of fuel. In July 2016, the association set its record of 1131 km/L gasoline equivalent, or Compiègne Copenhagen by road.
Every year we take part in the Shell Eco Marathon, where over 200 teams (2,000 students) from all over Europe come together to achieve the best performance. In 2016 in London, our record placed us 3rd in the alternative fuel prototype category.
