TECH GEN AFRICA NPC Overview

Tech Gen Africa (TGA) is a South African based non-profit, non-political, non-government and voluntary company committed to benefit African children and students by ensuring that they are well equipped and prepared to handle and benefit from the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) and future technologies, through exposure to disruptive technologies, electronic gadgets and platforms through collecting new and used smart phones, laptops, wifi devices and all other high tech gadgets from individuals, families, organisations and governments willing to support this initiative and handing over these gadgets to the disadvantaged students in need from township schools and rural schools in Africa in order to build a foundation of critical thinking, collaboration, communication, creativity, people management, emotional intelligence, judgement, negotiation, cognitive flexibility, as well as knowledge of production and management in the African child from a young age. TGA is an organization that delivers new possibilities to the young generations of Africa. TGA is desirous to make Africa the future game plan on the technology platform. TGA is an organization that is desirous to mine and harvest both used and new smartphone devices, laptops, computers and other electronic gadgets and pass them on to the disadvantaged high performing and intelligent students in South African and African schools. The TGA goal is to activate and nurture Africa’s intellectual giftedness and talent and ultimately create a repository of world class technology and innovation hubs, technology focused institutions, cutting edge research and African born innovative and high tech start-ups and global technology companies that become sustainable while highly profitable.TGA wants to create many “Silicon Valleys” in Africa.
