Tech Girl Power is a South Florida, 501c3 charitable organization which was founded in 2016. Our goal is to bring technology, math, science and engineering into the hands and hearts of young girls to ignite a flame through fun, hands on STEM workshops.
Our non-profit for girls focuses on providing STEM education to girls from lower socio-economic levels who are experiencing a digital and technology divide. Our workshops are led by real women who work in the STEM fields, providing that role model element, which studies have shown makes a huge impact in drawing girls to STEM. The workshops also include mentoring and self-efficacy building blocks to help our girls make the grade required to excel in STEM.
