Brisbane's Tech Women Collective is a casual social group hosting free, self-funded meetups in Brisbane for women in technology to make meaningful connections beyond the workplace. We focus exclusively on friendship and camaraderie rather than professional networking or skill-building.
Born from recognizing that the transition from university to career can be isolating, we bridge the gap between academic communities and professional networks by fostering the same sense of belonging found in university societies, but designed for women at all career stages.
We prioritize inclusivity through financially accessible gatherings in convenient Brisbane locations, creating natural opportunities for authentic relationships to form and flourish.
We complement existing professional development organizations by creating space for personal connections that make professional journeys more meaningful. Sometimes the most valuable resource isn't a workshop or business card exchange, but simply finding friends who understand your experience.
