The year was 2002 when Perry4Law Organisation (P4LO) was formed by me (Praveen Dalal). It was a tough choice by all means. I was a fresh Law Graduate from the Campus Law Center, Delhi University. I faced the choice between litigation, corporate job or to join a law firm. But I decided to opt for a fourth career. It was to launch my own venture but that was a herculean task. As there were already well established law firms in 2002, it was very difficult to establish, forget about surviving, a law firm in such cut throat competition.
Then the brilliant idea struck to my mind as I somewhere read that be different as there is less competition there. So the idea to start a Cyber Law firm came to my mind as I already has a Cyber Law Diploma from ILI. At that time there were a handful of Cyber Law specialists so the idea seemed ok. So the seeds for our Techno Legal Projects were sown in 2002.
But then came the turning point. I was selected for PHD from Campus Law Center for the topic Cyber Forensics. When I was doing my research on Cyber Forensics, I explored other areas like Cyber Security, Encryption, Malware, Cyber Warfare, Cyber Terrorism, etc. That broadened my perspective and till 2005 Perry4Law Organisation (P4LO) started exploring and launching Techno Legal Projects that we were doing research upon since 2002.
Then started a series of Techno Legal Projects creation and implementation and to streamline the same Perry4Law's Techno Legal Base (PTLB) was assigned this task. PTLB literally lifted everything and launched projects on Online Skills Development, Virtual Campus, Online Internship, E-Courts, Online Dispute Resolution (ODR), etc. PTLB also launched Techno Legal Center of Excellence in fields like Cyber Law, Cyber Security, Cyber Forensics, Human Rights, Cyber Crimes Investigation, E-Discovery,etc.
In May 2019 PTLB Projects was constituted and it launched a TeleLaw Project at http://telelaw.in/ having global reach. PTLB would launch more projects soon.
