Tecnocad

TECNOCAD is an Italian company active in the automotive and commercial vehicles sector since 1986, providing in-depth know-how in the engineering field, managing the entire development process, from initial concept to small production batches. At present more than two hundred engineers, men and women, work at all group sites. We are operating abroad now for more than ten years with the objective of diversifying internationally and exporting successfully the brand ‘Made in Italy’. Since its foundation, Tecnocad's Core business has been Engineering. Today the in-house competencies of the Tecnocad cover the complete vehicle development, in particular for: chassis, car body, interior trims, exterior trims, dashboard and components. In addition to Engineering activities, Tecnocad supports its clients in the definition of the best style and with activities of CAE simulation, project management, production assistance, prototyping, tooling manufacturing and production. In 2010, Tecnocad, in collaboration with Cecomp, founded ICONA, an Italian company based in Shanghai with the aim of offering to the Chinese market not only first quality engineering and prototyping products, but also Italian style and know-how. In 2012 Tecnocad announced the opening of a new group affiliate under the name TC PROJETOS based in one of the industrial capitals of Brazil, at Belo Horizonte in the state of Minas Gerais. This is a further step ahead in the process of internationalisation. In 2014 Tecnocad inaugurated another structure located in Modena - Italy, consisting of 750 sqm of offices and 500 sqm of warehouse and workshop. In 2017 we moved in our new Turin headquarters located in Strada della Manta 22 that spreads over an area of about 22,000 sqm. On this site Tecnocad, in compliance with its ethical principles, will combine the current three plants from the Turin area into one single integrated Hub, without cementing further greenfields.
