TEDxFultonStreet is a conference series about Technology, Entrepreneurship, and Design, where provocative topics are explored by extraordinary achievers. Our 80+ TED Talks have earned over 4,000,000 views. Presenters are extra-ordinary individuals who have helped to shape our world. Fulton Street is urban design, conceptual art, and marketing — all wrapped together. It begins in Lower Manhattan, and then continues in Brooklyn on the other side of the East River. The two ends were connected by one of Robert Fulton’s steamboats. We see it symbolically: as a manifestation of entrepreneurship, and as a creative bridge between communities. The downtown Manhattan area near Fulton Street is vibrant with business, finance, and engineering. The corresponding segment in Brooklyn is home to colleges and universities. These are our people: the creators, the lifelong learners, the world-changers.
