TedxTorquay Overview

TEDxTorquay is an independently organised local TED event bringing the TED ethos to Torquay. Our inaugural event on the theme of 'Wisdom and Innovation' was held at Torquay Museum on Saturday 17th November 2018. The TEDxTorquay 2018 team was: Jacob Brandon - Lead Curator Sarah Hemingway - Marketing & PR/Co-organiser Jenny Bindon - Partnership Coordinator Grace Clifford - Video and Production Lead Abigail Smith - Volunteer Assistant TEDx brings the spirit of TED’s mission of ideas worth spreading to local communities around the globe. TEDx events are organized by curious individuals who seek to discover ideas and spark conversations in their own community. TEDx events include live speakers and recorded TED Talks, and are organised independently under a license granted by TED.
