Welcome! We are a local hackathon that is part of a global initiative called Teens in AI aimed at inspiring teens to explore a future in tech and AI through collaborative hands-on learning experiences. Our hackathon is special as it is designed specifically for teenagers between the ages of 12 and 18. We believe that by providing an inclusive and empowering platform for teens, we can tap into their potential and creativity to create meaningful and impactful solutions for our community and beyond.
Our hackathon brings together young individuals from various backgrounds to collaborate and develop innovative solutions that align with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals. We provide the necessary resources and support for the teens to turn their ideas into reality, learn from industry experts and mentors, and connect with like-minded individuals.
Throughout the event, participants will have the opportunity to work on projects in areas such as Good Health and Well-being, Quality Education, and Gender Equality. And at the end of the hackathon, participants will present their projects to a panel of judges. The best projects would be selected per local hackathon and entered into the Global Judging pool to determine the overall winners of IWD2023.
