Tees Valley, like everywhere is totally dependent on nature. Nature provides our clean air & water our places to play and relax, offers protection from flooding and helps us to thrive. Unfortunately, nature is under threat and our green spaces are being lost to developments, inadequately protected & managed & polluted.
We’ve taken from nature for too long now we must help nature to recover, with good quality bio-diverse green spaces throughout our region. The good news is that there is a lot that we can do as individuals, groups & organisations that will make a real difference for nature. The more us of who are involved, the better the outcome will be.
We work with policymakers and influencers regionally and nationally to make sure that nature’s needs are at the heart of decision making. TVNP has over 40 member organisations from large government agencies to small locally groups all committed to helping nature in Tees Valley to recover. We help and support these organisations to work effectively and we provide a voice for them to reach senior decision-makers.
