TEES VALLEY RURAL ACTION offers a wide range of advice and support to voluntary and community groups in the rural areas of Tees Valley. We are committed to combating social exclusion, poverty, disadvantage and discrimination throughout rural areas through Community Action. By Enabling communities through information and guidance packs Supporting volunteers with sign posting and bespoke training offers Empowering local people and organisations by getting their voices heard. Promoting rural communities in order to influence local, regional and national policy through initiatives like #villagehallsweek. Identifying gaps in existing services & establish new projects addressing needs Bringing partners together to create new and exciting projects. Such as Our Community Matters & Step Forward Tees Valley Rural Transport we operate two rural transport schemes. Offering safe, reliable and affordable transport for residents of Tees Valley who are experiencing genuine transport difficulties. Both services rely heavily on volunteers.
