In addition, TEM-2085 exhibited strong and better protective effect than upadacitinib (Rinvoq TM) against colitis in rodent, a form of Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), which indicates this compound has therapeutic potential for other autoimmune/inflammatory diseases. TEM-2085 and its analogues act through a novel and breakthrough mechanism of action (MoA) downmodulating the release of key proinflammatory cytokines.
