Tender Funerals Australia is a not-for-profit organisation set-up to support communities across Australia set-up the Tender model in their local area.
At the moment we are working with a number of communities including Canberra and regions, Mid-North Coast, Far-North Queensland, Illawarra/Sydney, Sunshine Coast, Tasmania, Newcastle and Perth.

Tender Funerals is a not-for-profit funeral service model that offers choice and transparency in delivering personalised, meaningful and affordable funerals in times that can create financial or emotional distress.
Every person is unique, and their funeral should reflect this. We provide a range of services across after death care, funeral/celebration arrangements and body disposal options – many based on sustainable principles – which enable you to have a much greater say in how your loved one is treated after death.
A community venture, we operate in ways they do not leave community members with large debt. We don’t take shortcuts and always put people and relationships first.
Tender Funerals Australia provides critical IP and ongoing capacity building support to the Tender sites and promotes community education around end-of-life and funerals across the country.
