Terra Recognita Foundation - "for a Central European dialogue" was initiated by Hungarian researchers in 2005, who have specialized in the investigation of small states' societies and politics within the CEE region, and who have learnt local languages for this reason. In the last more than a decade, the Foundation participated in a great variety of research and dissemination projects, focusing on the public discourse, on the national consciousness, inter-ethnic relations, local government initiatives. The results of these projects have embodied in websites, academic and popular publications in English or in local languages, workshops or even film festivals. Its stable partners and sponsors have proved to be the following organisations:
