Terraverde is a new, not-for-profit UK organisation with a mission to connect donor funds with projects and solutions that will help deliver a fairer, greener Britain.
We are guided by three core values: hope, collaboration, and education. Terraverde is passionate about harnessing its own funds and donors’ gifts, to help the UK and the world’s poorest people mitigate the effects of climate change and poverty.
We believes everyone has the right to live healthy and full lives that are free from climate harm and wealth inequality. We also want to educate the next generation, so they’re equipped to make the difference. To help fulfill this mission, Terraverde will be working towards becoming a digital first charity, with its technology partner, Lenderhive, and together have already created a Knowledge Hub on the Terraverde website, packed with free, useful energy saving information and resources.
Terraverde starts its work with three established charity partners, Buglife, Farms for City Children and Rewilding Britain. The work of these three charity partners is crucial and their homegrown ‘green’ solutions back a diverse range of schemes from nature engagement breaks for disadvantaged inner-city children to carbon capture through nature restoration.
