TESSA JETSON Foundation

A survivor of domestic abuse, Tessa Jetson is an outstanding example of success today. In 1992, after three years of severe violence from and abuse husband and father to her children, Tessa decided that was enough. One violent episode drove her to a women’s refuge, where she and her children were placed in emergency accommodation. Broke, homeless, suicidal, suffering from depression and feeling totally helpless, Tessa received assistance and was able to get her own place in a housing commission cluster. With progressive counselling and participation in a number of self-help, motivational programs and seminars, Tessa has been able to move on and change her life. Motivated by a desire to provide a quality life for her three children and to create financial independence, Tessa’s determination has enabled her to achieve an extraordinary life. In the past 15 years she has embraced roles in counselling, management, consultancy, entertainment and property. Today, Tessa is an exuberant, confident and qualified Speaker, Trainer, Author, Mentor and NLP Practitioner who relentlessly gives back to other women, encouraging them to take their own steps forward.
