Founded in 2020 by Floria Amon, Texture is a salon that celebrates all hair types, with a special focus on natural styles like waves, curls, kinks, and coils. We believe in embracing natural beauty and are committed to changing the outdated stigmas around curly textured hair.
Located in Brixton, our salon provides a safe and inclusive space where everyone—regardless of gender, race, religion, sexual orientation, or hair texture—feels welcome and valued. At Texture, we offer a judgement-free environment where clients can feel confident and learn to care for their natural hair.
Inclusivity is central to our mission. We host “Women-only Tuesdays” to provide a private experience for our Muslim clients who wear hijabs, ensuring everyone can enjoy the Texture experience. Our vision is to expand across the UK, with salons dedicated to curly and textured hair, starting with our Brixton flagship as a training hub.
