The 1980 Alliance is a network and platform for young Zimbabweans. We seek to inspire, empower and educate through our projects and partnerships. Our population is disproportionately skewed, with over 65% of Zimbabweans under 35 years old. This demographic is also highly disadvantaged, and while many are able to complete education, jobs are scarce and wider youth engagement is low.
That said, many young people are leading the way in responding to the challenges that Zimbabwe faces. We harness the dynamism and creativity of young people to change the Zimbabwean narrative and create opportunities.
