The Birthing Place (TBP) is a team of experienced, local BIPOC birthing professionals including midwives, birth & postpartum doulas, birth assistants, childbirth educators and lactation counselors, whose mission is to expand access to perinatal education, family wellness, and respectful midwifery care in the Bronx and neighboring communities. We achieve this by:
1. Providing Reproductive Education and Resources
2. Implementing Womb Bus (mobile health+wellness sprinter)
3. Developing a Bronx based Free-Standing Birth Center
