The Black Literature Project is a social enterprise founded by Reanna Teape in 2024, shortly after she completed her MA in Black British literature at Goldsmiths University. Her passion and dedication to changing the narrative of stories told in and outside the classroom has been something she has been committed to within her teaching profession.
Through the Black Literature Project, we educate, empower, and celebrate the works and contributions of British writers of colour in education, communities, and British culture. We work with and alongside educators, policymakers, librarians and non-traditional communities to create and organise events, workshops and specialised talks in corporate and educational spaces.
