The Bridge: Conversations on Gender Empowerment Women in India, and all over the world, have come a long way, but the journey has neither been easy nor equitable. We are at this juncture in the life of our nation where all genders must come together and work together for what is overdue to more than one half of us. Open and inclusive conversations on gender are critical to urge people to move beyond the rhetoric, make space for voices that have been stifled or left unheard and work towards policy changes that ensure representation, justice, and equity for women and LGBTQI in both public and private spaces.
