About The Bureau

We are Glossop's only Community Wellbeing Charity, and we have been supporting our community by meeting identified needs since 1979. Our overarching aim is to make life better for people in Glossopdale, which we achieve with the support of 27 staff and 300 dedicated volunteers. We operate across the Glossopdale district and undertake a range of activities to achieve our aim, including Social Prescribing, peer support activities, practical support and advice. Our organisation had 5 key strategic objectives: - Volunteering - Connecting - Supporting - Advising - Responding We work closely with our community, and engage with partners across multiple sectors - including the NHS, local councils, businesses, other charities and small community groups. We believe we work better together!
