The Cannabinoid Institute (TCI) is a global medical cannabis education company that specializes in teaching science-driven, objective education to physicians, nurses, mental health clinicians and pharmacists. We provide accredited, Certification Programs and individual courses for clinicians. We also provide Dispensary Staff training certification to help potential applicants get an edge on the competition.
We are the world's first global medical cannabis education company and the only one that is based on research performed at NYU on clinician knowledge and attitudes about cannabis. Our approach is unique and we provide two ways toward certification. TCI provides self-paced and web-based education that you can take anywhere and at any time; and we also offer live events, including our monthly Grand Rounds to TCI-Certified clinicians. We are led by thought leaders and a group of multidisciplinary clinicians with detailed clinical knowledge on cannabis' impact on patient care, and we pride ourselves in having content written by clinicians for clinicians.
We partner with universities, medical associations, and individuals to help them learn how to work with their patients to reduce potential adverse reactions. Our patient-centered focus informs our approach; and competency and patient advocacy rooted in objectivity provides clinicians with the tools they need to feel comfortable recommending or prescribing (determined by location) cannabis to their patients.
TCI content is offered in English and Spanish, and we offer discounts to medical students and other healthcare students.
