The Cape Heritage Museum brings awareness to the heritage and history of the Muslim and Slave community through art. We have a private collection in excess of one thousand (1,000) paintings, artifacts, photographs and relics.
The CHM's is a registered Non Profit Organisation, that was founded in 2017 and is hosted at the The Cape Castle of Good Hope since the 1st December 2020. I'm excited to announce, as result of the popularity, positive feedback and high number of patrons that visited the exhibition, our lease period was extended for another three years.
One of CMSHM’s main objectives is to expose our youth and future young leaders of today to the unedited history of the Cape, by encouraging, inspiring, and educating them through this meticulously curated art exhibition.
Our inherent believe is that the youth are the torch-carriers for the future generations and this is an opportunity for you to play a major part in igniting that spark in our future leaders.
Fundamental to the exhibitions success is for interdepartmental cohesion and development of good working relationships between all stakeholders, the different internal stakeholders within the Castle of Good Hope, external stakeholders/sponsors, other Governmental bodies and the curator, thus the need to establish a vital culture of co-operation between all parties involved.
