The CARE Group, Inc. is the merger nonprofit organization of Moore Buddies Mentoring and Moore County Literacy Council. Our mission is to equip, empower, and encourage individuals through education, mentoring, and enrichment opportunities. Our vision is to have a community in which families are thriving and youth have promising futures.
Programs we offer free of charge to our community are:
-One-on-One Mentoring and Tutoring for at-risk youth
-Structured Day Program for suspended or youth in the juvenile justice system
-One-on-One Adult Tutoring for ABE and ESL students
-Citizenship Preparation Tutoring
-Digital Literacy Classes for beginner, intermediate, and advanced students
-Motheread/Fatheread®
-Summer Reading Stations
