The mission of CCCL is to equip executive leaders with the necessary skills that, taken together, lead to practical mastery of the concept of readiness and its immediate implementation during critical events. CCCL bases its process of leader readiness preparation on two concepts: Team of Leaders (ToL) and John Boyd’s OODA (Observe, Orient, Decide, Act) Loop Operations. ToL is a method for the rapid building and effective deployment of cross-boundary High Performing Leader Teams (HPLTs). Collaborating teams are unified by shared purpose and the capacity to learn and adapt together, to make and execute decisions based on actionable understanding™, and to execute assigned tasks purposefully and efficiently while acting under the pressure of complex, rapidly changing operational environments. HPLTs, involved in the definition of strategies and missions based on actionable understanding that unifies all distributed Teams of Leaders, perform as Collaborating Command Teams™.
