Networking can leave a bad taste in someone's mouth. All throughout business they hear "network, network, network! But what does that look like? No one has ever showed them "how to network."
When I was running my insurance agency, my manager told me this, but, he didn't have a clue how to do it. I went to the mall and "prospected for a couple hours a day. I went to a networking meeting to "network." I think everyone else there felt as awkward as I did
So...I developed my own way of networking which has been successful whenever I have shared it with others. my circle of influence has grown over the past 4 years from implementing these techniques. People know who I am when I walk into a room. They seek out me out for advice. I don't want to sound like I am bragging, but, it makes you feel good when others listen to what you have to say.
My hope is to minimize the "overwhelm" and show you how to have fun with networking in your business.
