The Daniel Morcombe Foundation's The Daniel Morcombe Foundation was established in honour of Daniel Morcombe to make Australia a safer place for children. It was founded by parents Bruce and Denise after their son was abducted in December 2003 while waiting to catch a bus on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. Our vision Today we build a future where children are free from harm and abuse. We would like to see a future where all children and young people are provided with education, protection and support to be safe from abuse and risk of harm. The Daniel Morcombe Foundation provides personal child safety education to children and young people at no cost, to prevent harm and abuse. We support educators, parents and carers through the provision of resources and education and also directly support young victims of crime.
