The Gaia Initiative seeks to provide a valuable educational experience for student fund managers and analysts through the development of investment research skills, marketing, and analytics. The returns from the fund will generate scholarships and opportunities for students at the University of New Haven.
The first fund that has been rolled out is the Gaia ESG Fund where students will be exposed to ESG initiatives, quantitative ESG metrics, and utilize effective investment strategies to generate sustainable returns. Within this fund, students conduct research and select the best mutual funds and ETFs that align with ESG standards outlined in our Investment Policy Statement.
