The Gap Sustainability Initiative Inc. Overview

The Gap Sustainability Initiative (TGSI) is charitable, volunteer-led community organisation committed to working in partnership with other community organisations, residents, schools, businesses and governmental stakeholders to promote sustainable living practices and a positive ecological environment. We run free monthly community events in The Gap, alternating between educational seminars on various sustainability topics and working group meetings to advance our various projects. We currently lead three main projects: 1/ Enhancing existing capabilities: aims to strengthen and support all environmental community groups in The Gap. 2/ The Platypus project: aims to bring back platypus in The Gap by 2032. 3/ Energy independence: aims to provide sustainable energy to all residents.
