THE GROWING ZONE GROUP C.I.C. Overview

The Growing Zone is a completely FREE project to all and does not discriminate in any way and provides placements for young people with challenges to learn various new skills in their own time. These placements are supported by kind local businesses and corporates. We do many other things at GZ e.g. Woodwork, IT, Admin, Crafts Photography, etc. We do anything. We especially luv socialising and always have a party lined up, which is very important to us all. GZ is always open to visitors. We work alongside community groups, schools, colleges, individuals and can be used by anyone at any time. Our youngsters present their new skills to many other groups and schools to show what can be achieved with a little determination. They call themselves the YES team (Youth Employment Support). GZ donates everything we grow on our several plots to the community (fruit from our community orchard, veg, flowers, etc). We grow plants for other groups to sell and raise funds to help their own projects to continue. We grow everything at GZ but mainly WE GROW PEOPLE.
