The Hans Foundation Hospitals [THFH] is a unit of The Hans Foundation. With the mission HEALTH FOR ALL, THFH focuses on bringing quality health care to the urban underserved and rural unreached.
With little to no health care infrastructure, the people of Uttarakhand desperately needed free and subsidized medical care. Thus, THFH established two health care entities in India’s newest state~
The Hans Foundation Eye Care, a hub and spoke eye care hospital system headquartered in urban Bahadrabad near Haridwar, and Satpuli Hospital, a 10-acre multi-specialty hospital campus located in rural Satpuli in Pauri-Garhwal district. These entities provide patients free or highly subsidized medical eye exams, multiple tests including pathology and xray, spectacles, surgeries and other services meeting the needs of the area.
Established in 2012 and having provided free health care to over 50,000 patients, THFH has already begun to see itself as game changer in this noble cause.
