The Happy Donut Bakery is a small batch vegan bakery run from our home kitchen in Bath. Everything we make is made by hand and delivered to our customer's doorsteps.
The bakery launched in April 2020, during the first Coronavirus lockdown in the UK. Currently, we operate from home, and as we don’t have a shop where our customers can browse, we built our community of donut lovers via social media. A key part of The Happy Donut is our brand and brand aesthetic, our distinctive 60’s vibe has helped us to generate over 6000 followers on Instagram in just over a year.
Thanks to the support of our customers, we produce thousands of donuts per month for delivery across Bath, Bristol, and the surrounding areas. And to satisfy our nationwide audience, we launched our nationwide letterbox boxes which include American Style Cookies, Rocky Roads, and our own creation The Brocky.
Although we are a 100% vegan company, we are not exclusively for vegans. In fact, 70% of our customers are not vegan. With no “planty” taste, we’re changing the “ew that’s vegan” mindset.
