The Heron Byre provides 200 square metres of flexible and adaptable space for your corporate event/away day for up to 100 people. With beautiful and tranquil views over the Lanarkshire countryside and easy access from the M74 and A71, we can provide you with the venue to escape the hustle and bustle of the office environment.
Our helpful and professional team will be on hand to provide advice and support to ensure we can tailor your event to your specific requirements. We also have a large car park and are a fully accessible venue.
To allow for a smooth corporate event we offer full fibre broadband of up to 900mb, projector, screen, flipchart, and PA system.
We can provide a corporate catering package throughout the day, tailored to your requirements including refreshments and a light afternoon tea served with tea and coffee, all homemade in the Heron kitchen. We can also provide a bar service should this be required.
At the Heron we are passionate about corporate social responsibility, and we have invested in renewable energy in the form of solar and air source pumps keeping our carbon footprint low. We also have a carbon neutral wood burning stove in the main building as well as the Heron Byre. We can assist and engage your employees in your specific corporate social responsibility model. For example, we can offer tree planting on our farm as part of your corporate event which will offset negative CO2 impacts on the environment by replenishing natural resources. Planting just one tree can reduce carbon emissions by approximately two tonnes. One of our expert team will guide you and your employees through this process which will not only provide a positive impact on the planet but will also boost staff morale as they feel more connected to the world around them and the community.
