Military and local servicemen and women are asked to silently bear the burden of their professions. They carry with them stories of heroism, selfless service, and camaraderie that truly make them great. Their stories need to be told. We believe the storytelling will not only serve as a coping tool; but provide the community with a brief glimpse into the lives of the courageous and honorable men and women that serve our nation. From these stories and their bravery we can all learn the lessons of heroism, selfless service, and triumph.
The Homefront Foundation teaches veterans and servicemembers storytelling techniques and offers an event for the community to hear them.
