The Honest Bottle Overview

The Honest Bottle is a UK made reusable bottle that launched in 2022. It is the ONLY reusable bottle designed and made locally in the UK, from UK sourced post consumer recycled single-use bottles and is 100% recyclable (and 100% free of greenwashing claims!) Frustrated with the claims made by the ever increasing number of so-called ‘sustainable’ products, co-founders James Capel and Peter Goodwin were compelled to design a product that committed to total transparency. And by placing circularity at the heart of the design process, every conceivable consideration was made to ensure that the Honest Bottle is a truly sustainable product – designed for REUSE, designed for RECYCLING and designed from RECYCLED materials. At Honest, we are passionate about being honest to ourselves, to our product and to our customers, which is why we knew we had to do more than simply selling a reusable product to claim we were making a real difference in tackling the issues of our single use culture. We understand that making reuse more convenient for our customers is fundamental to increasing uptake from our customers, which is why we are currently working on a campaign to increase the availability of publicly accessible water refill points.
